Here I am! I am very handsome!

Thanks everyone, Max has been adopted.

Max is a 7 ½ year old, handsome, well-mannered boy. He is extremely obedient but still a typical Airedale who meets people on his own terms and with some reserve. This is a very, very nice boy who does not beg for food, truly loves people and gets along fine with other dogs.

I really need a new home!

Max has lived with a cat but, being a normal Airedale, will certainly chase chance-met cats as well.  Since he has had no experience with children, it is recommended that he find his forever placement in an adult only home. Max is up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Please? Take me home?

Max would make an excellent companion for an adult family. He would love to spend the Christmas holidays this year in his new home. Could that be yours?

Max is in Nova Scotia.

What’s all the Buzz?

By Steph MacNeil - Ontario Success 1 Comment »

This is Buzz!  He is a gorgeous year and a half old male Airedale.  He is neutered, up to date on his shots, has some obedience and is looking for his loving forever family.

Buzz is a BIG goofy boy.  He loves, loves, loves people but currently lacks a few manners.  He likes to jump up and he is very strong.

In the right home without small children or other dogs, Buzz is going to be an awesome companion.

Buzz is currently in Nova Scotia and is being kenneled.  He urgently needs a home to get him on the right track in his life.  If you think you can give Buzz the love and forever home he craves, please contact Maureen Tate divineaire@gmail.com

Gracie is a beautiful eight year old Airegirl who needs a new, loving home. She spent the first seven years of her life, tied outside 365 days a year, only being invited into the house at night.

She was placed last year in a home with another female Airedale. Gracie proved to be very dominant with and aggressive to other dogs, particularly small ones and females.  She also has some resource guarding issues but not with food — instead, like many Airedales, she treasures items of clothing.

She is wonderful with people, travels extremely well, loves the car, is aloof as only an Airedale can be at times, but also loves to be rubbed and patted. For the right owner,  Gracie will be an awesome addition to the family.

Gracie would love a home where she is the only dog. A fenced yard is essential and a commitment to train Gracie in obedience to strengthen her recall skills would be an asset. Because of Gracie’s energetic behavior, a home with small children will not be appropriate.

Gracie is presently located in the Halifax area.

Brie is a wonderful girl who gets along with all shapes and sizes of dogs.  She is very playful so it would be great for her to have an active owner or to be with someone who has another young and playful dog. She is well mannered and will naturally follow you around.  She loves to be bathed and brushed and is always happy, friendly and a joy to have around.   She does like to jump up on people and she pulls on leash but training will curb this activity.  A fenced yard is a must for this lovely active girl. This Airedale loves her food and treats so training will not be a problem.  She would do really well in obedience classes and obedience lessons will be a condition of adoption.  Brie is intact and will be spayed prior to adoption.
