An update on Betty ~ now Ellie as per her new family’s request.
We’ve named her Ellie! Ellie found a bunny in the yard this morning, wow that was neat! She loves tummy rubs and nose scratches! Ellie has decided she’s my shadow, so she has to lay down where she can see me. She really likes all the attention!
Ellie didn’t think I should go to work this morning. I made her sit, patted her, told her to stay home, and be a good girl! Then did the same pats and instructions with a hug to my 15 yr old daughter. She came up and stuck her nose between us, wagging her tail like “Hey ladies, group hug!!” Oh my, what a love. She’s so happy here, and everyone who’s met her says her new name suits her perfectly. I’m sure we’ve given Ellie the best there is. Thanks Airecanada, for all you do.Catherine and Ellie
Teddy is Betty’s brother (http://www.airecanada.com/tag/Betty)! Born July 2004, he is a handsome 52 lb boy who just turned 7. He was the dominant one of the two and while very self assured, he is not aggressive. Teddy loves nuzzling up for ear rubs and is always lying at his foster families feet. Teddy’s owner was ill and had to be moved to a hospital so Teddy landed in rescue with his sister and this is the first time he has been without her. He is taking it all in stride and warming up to the idea of having the humans all to himself. Teddy needs some basic obedience work but walks ok on a leash. Teddy will be neutered next week and will then be ready to meet his forever family. If you live in Onatario and you think Teddy might be the dog you have been waiting for, please submit an adoption application found here: http://www.airecanada.com/applicationform.html and contact Stephanie MacNeill – firstname.lastname@example.org
Little Betty is a petite Airedale who just celebrated her 7th birthday! Sadly her previous owner was ill and had to be moved to a hospital so she is looking to spend the second half of her life with a loving new family. Betty is Teddy’s sister (http://www.airecanada.com/2011/08/22/teddy-in-ontario/) and you will love Betty, she is sweet, calm, gentle and has great basic obedience. She comes, sits and walks very nicely on her leash. Betty just came into rescue and will be spayed this week so she will be ready to go to her new home right away. Betty loves to be around people and could use a little TLC to get through this tough transition. She has lost some weight and is a little scared at the moment but with a little consistency and love she will be a dream doggie. If you are interested in Betty, please complete an adoption application and contact Stephanie MacNeill – email@example.com
Sheena went to a wonderful new home this past Sunday. Her new family met her and it was love at first sight on both sides. When they left, they took her with them to start a new life filled with fun and affection.
Sheena has been coming to daycare for a week now, myself and all of my staff have observed that she has excellent interaction with other dogs. She is with approximately 30 dogs each day and has no problems being with groups of dogs. She is wonderful with people very sweet, very happy and really appreciates attention and accepts touching and petting with genuine appreciation. All of us think she is just a wonderful dog and the person that adopts her will have a sweet well adjusted dog. If I didn’t have 3 dogs already I would want to adopt her. Whomever adopts Sheena will be getting a wonderful companion.
Our most sincere thanks go to Kathleen and her caring staff for their assistance with Sheena.
