Do you have room in your heart for Casey? She urgently needs a new home!

Hi there! I want a new home very much!

CASEY HAS BEEN ADOPTED! THANK YOU FOR YOUR INQUIRIES!

Say “hello!” to Casey! She has a very sweet, gentle disposition. She is a healthy girl with a coat which is in excellent condition.

This eight year old darling is an Airedale who is highly responsive to commands and extremely loving to humans. Sadly, due to illness in her present home, Casey needs new owners who will love her as much as she promises to love them.

Casey is extremely intelligent and understands sit, down, come, back up, pee, dump, walk, stay, and leave it. She will sit cheerfully for a treat (and then will relish every single bite of the reward).

Look! Look! See how nicely I can sit?

We are told she regrets her inability to fly when stalking crows and is a very determined fly catcher!

Although generally friendly to chance-met dogs, Casey does not always enjoy the company of strange dogs, particularly small ones. She is used to being the only dog in a household. It is our belief that Casey will thrive in a new home where she is the only dog. Her tolerance for cats is unknown. Since she has not been around children to any degree, we would prefer an adult home for Casey.

I am a VERY good girl!

Casey has been living in a large apartment for the past six years and has been lucky enough to have daily walks along the Stanley Park Seawall. Although a home with a fenced yard would be preferred for her, we would consider placing her in a reasonably sized condo or apartment.

Casey loves being with people and is used to having her owners with her constantly. A home where someone was present much of the time (retired or working from home perhaps) would be most suitable for her.

If you are interested in Casey, you may request additional information from Margaret Glass . As with all our rescued Airedales, a completed application form is required. Note that Casey is located in the Vancouver, BC, area.  We would consider homes within reasonable driving distance of Vancouver for her, however.
